Jarro Negro v2.0.2
This project was born out of the project Muser, a project to develop a distribution for servers of different architectures (including SPARC).
They decide to develop a distribution for the campus.The name was born from a combination of RedHat and Jarro (of a drink company from Mexico)
The logo was provided by a mexican illustrator bachan (Sebastian Carrillo).
So this project was born!
LAter Sergio, Alberto y Alfredo were joined the team.
Since version 2 they decided to develop a distribution not only for the CCH,so they decide to develop for Spanish-speaking countries .
To accomplish this they decided to open the section of distributors and partners (sponsors), thanks to their help the project continues and will continue for long.
They also develop JNP packaging that helps keep the distribution. It should be noted that JN is not based on any other GNU / Linux distribution.
Throughout these years of development they have given lectures in various parts of Mexico and Latin America, with the help of different national and foreign agencies, as well as GUL’S.
The project has also received several awards from national and foreign institutions.
