If you’re using Google XML sitemaps plugin for WordPress, you might have the following error when trying to access the sitemap you created: Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred (805303f4).
In order to fix it, you need to change the sitemap name in plugin settings. I haven’t investigated why do you need to do this, it just works.
You need to visit yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=google-sitemap-generator/sitemap.php
Next locate “Location of your sitemap file” section and change sitemap.xml to anything_alse.xml. In my sample it’s map.xml.
If you already have this sitemap submitted to Google Webmasters, you should delete the previous one and resubmit it with a new name.
